AI Board Summaries
Running a retro shouldn't end with someone spending 15 minutes writing up what happened. Starting today, LetRetro automatically generates a concise, structured summary of every board — highlighting key themes, action items, and team sentiment.
How it works
When your retro board closes, you'll see a Summarize button in the top-right corner. Click it, and our AI reads every card, groups related thoughts, and produces a summary in seconds.
The summary includes:
- Key themes — the top 3–5 topics that came up
- Action items — extracted and organized by owner
- Sentiment snapshot — how the team is trending
How to enable it
AI Board Summaries are available on all plans. To get started:
- Open any retro board
- Click the Summarize button in the toolbar
- Share the summary with your team or export it to Slack
AI summaries are generated using OpenAI's GPT-4 model. Your board data is never used for training.
