Weekly Update: MCP & Teams

Two updates this week: MCP (Model Context Protocol) is now self-serve for all Pro workspaces, and teams now share a single quota pool instead of per-user limits.

MCP is now self-serve

Previously, MCP access required contacting us. Starting today, any Pro workspace can enable it from Settings → Integrations → MCP. You get:

• API key management — Create, rotate, and revoke MCP keys from the dashboard
• Per-key permissions — Scope each key to read-only, read-write, or admin access
• Usage logs — See which keys are active and when they were last used

Shared team quotas

AI features (summaries, voice cards, action item suggestions) now draw from a single workspace pool rather than separate per-user limits. This means:

• Teams with heavy users and light users balance out automatically
• Admins can see total usage across the workspace in one view
• Overages show a single prompt instead of individual per-user warnings

We're working on per-team quota controls so admins can allocate limits to specific teams within a workspace.
