Weekly Update: Jira Integration Enhancements
The Jira integration gets a major upgrade with richer card interactions, smoother workflows, and a cleaner visual design.
How it works
- Inline editing — Edit issue titles and descriptions directly from the detail dialog without leaving your board
- Comments — View, add, and manage Jira issue comments right from within LetRetro
- Smart status badges — Status text is automatically abbreviated (e.g. "In Progress" → "IP") to keep card footers clean. Custom statuses like "In Design" or "Out-of-Plan" are abbreviated too
- Issue detail view — Click any linked issue to open a full detail panel with status, priority, assignee, and due dates
- Cross-provider linking — Link the same card to issues across GitHub, GitLab, and Jira simultaneously
- Unified sync — A single Sync button lets you refresh all integrations at once with per-provider control
How to enable it
All improvements are automatically available for boards with Jira linked cards. If you haven't connected Jira yet:
- Go to Dashboard → Integrations → Jira
- Authorize with your Atlassian account
- Select a project and start linking issues to your retro cards
